How Midwest Vision Centers is Handling
COVID-19 — We Are Now Seeing Patients!
How We’re Serving the Community
While Midwest Vision Centers originally began as a Minnesota-owned and operated small business, we’ve since expanded our locations to better serve more people throughout the Midwest. And although we’ve grown, our staff and doctors are firmly rooted in the communities they serve, and are committed to doing what’s best for you and your family. With the outbreak of COVID-19, we made the difficult decision to temporarily close our doors to best protect your health and safety.
We’re excited to announce that we’re now able to safely reopen our locations. Our reopening on May 4th also marked the beginning of our annual Customer Appreciation Sale. Stop in before the end of May for 50% off all frames and lenses at participating locations.
How We’re Keeping You Safe
While we look forward to welcoming you back to our offices, we ask for your cooperation and patience, as we’ve made a few changes to our operations that will help protect the wellbeing of our staff and patients.
The following safety protocols will be in effect in our Midwest Vision offices:
- Thermometers are available for our team to have their temperature checked and each staff member will wear personal protective equipment, including gloves and masks.
- We’re spacing out appointment times so that we can properly sanitize exam rooms before and after every visit.
- The layout of our waiting rooms will be adjusted, and the number of guests allowed in our offices limited so that our patients can practice social distancing.
- Patients who have ordered their eyewear have the option for curbside pickup.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
We’ve also made a few adjustments and enacted new safety protocols that will change how your appointment is conducted, so that we can protect your overall health while continuing to provide top-quality eye care.
We ask that when you arrive for your appointment, please bring your own pen, and please leave other family members at home, unless you are accompanying a minor or have special circumstances. In order to best protect you, our staff, and your fellow patients, we ask that everyone who enters our offices wear a mask. If your doctor is not readily available, we may ask you to please wait in your car (or the mall hallway depending on the location), and you will be waved inside once your doctor is ready. If you are trying on frames, please place them in the designated basket when you are done so that they can be sanitized before being placed back on the board. Throughout our office, we will be consistently sanitizing all items and surfaces for everyone’s protection.
We’re excited to once again be providing the people of Minnesota and North Dakota with the quality eye services they need, and the personalized care they deserve. If you have any questions about your eye health, or are ready to schedule an appointment, call the Midwest Vision location nearest you or schedule an appointment online. And, don’t forget about our Customer Appreciation Sale: stop in by May 30th to take 50% off of all frames and lenses!
